This was the first year the we have a had a "friends" birthday party for Braden! I have never seen a kid so hyper all day in anticipation for all his friends to come over! It's all he talked about all day!

Proud birthday boy! We had a pirate themed birthday complete with swords for all the kids, of course they didn't get them until they were about to walk out the door!

Braden thought the cake was awesome!! Thanks to all the friends who came!

Ready or not...winter has come!!

Mike took this picture of the girls after Karlie got them ready one morning to go play in the snow. I think they would be in for a cold surprise!

The first day of snow the kids were thrilled! I on the other hand have a clue of how long this dang winter lasts!! We celebrated the snow anyway and built a snowman. The snow was perfect for it!

A week away....

Another trip to Couer d' Alene! We just can't seem to get enough of that place. Larkin took our family out on their new boat and we had a great time!

We definately had a full boat!! I wonder if that's what scared the fish away!

The Beauchat's joined us to check out some new places like this Raptor Reef Indoor Water Park. It was awesome! They had three tube slides that the kids loved! They definately got their work out in! They went up and down those stairs so many times!

There is something about Hailie and wanting to wear goggles! She is so funny!

What a stud!! I am so proud of my little boy to learn to ride his bike with no training wheels!! He literally learned so dang fast and we made it through with no major scraps and cuts. He only ran into Mike's truck twice, the garage door once and finished up with a slam into the trailer! The good thing was he was still laughing through it all! Wow, he is growing up so fast!

Better late than never!!

This is Braden's little buddy named Chester that he made in kindergarden. I had to ask him if he named him Chester or if everyone in his class made one named Chester. Luckily it was not a name he just thought of on his own, that would be a little creepy!

Karlie ran out to the bus and litterally never looked back!

Karlie was so excited for her first day of preschool. I think she's been waiting for it to come since Braden's first day of preshool! She is such a smart little girl and was ready as ever!!

So...I don't know about you but some days I just wish for a day that I could have no responsibility with kids and just relax and get some things done. So, this weekend I was on c-section call for work so I was obligated to stick around town. Mike's whole family was planning a camping trip which I knew that he wanted to go on but he also felt bad leaving me. So, he finally was talked into going and he took the two older kids and me and Hailie stayed home. And dang, I'm glad I kept her to keep me company. It's just one of those things that I take for granted. I was so lonely this weekend with my family gone. Nothing was able to fill that gap. Hailie and I went to the baseball game with my parents, went shopping, ate dinner at the river, went for a walk and had some good bonding time. I had tons of fun with her. She is so dang cute and says the funniest things. But without the rest of the fam....there was something definately missing. I just am so grateful for what I have. I am just awaiting for them to get home so the chaos can begin again. Hopefully I'll be more grateful for the wild house I live in....so hurry up and get home so I can continue to go CRAZY!! Until next time, I will long for a day of my own!

The five of us girls had our own little high school reunion last night! What a blast! It was honestly so fun to get together and see everyone's cute families. I can't believe my camera wasn't the one who captured the stunts!! You know we had to live out a few of our high school memories!! What an awesome night!!

Here is my cute kindergardener!! Oh my bitter sweet!! He loves to go to school! It is so funny because he goes to Edgemont, the same elementary school that I went to. Man, it makes me feel so old to go in there.
